A 0.33L bottle tasted at One Pint Pub. Beige head. Slightly sweet nose with some hints of vanilla. Floating particles. Sweet slightly sour taste. Well balanced. Some raisins in the taste. At the en hoppiness.

Bottle. Dark orange body, with a medium off-white head. Aroma is yeast, spices, some fruit. Flavor is fruit, yeast, spices, sweet caramel. It´s a bit too sweet for me.

330ml bottle shared courtesy of egajdzis (thanks!). Poured a medium and hazy golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of wood/oak, fruity, vanilla, citrus, and some spices. Tastes of candi sugar, lighter wood, spices, citrus, honey, and vanilla. Lighter alcohol in the finish but overall well hidden.

750mL bottle shared by ygtbsm94 in line at the Sexual Chocolate release. Thanks Brad!! Poured golden with a small white head. This beer was really interesting, as most are from this brewery. Nose shows some citrus, candy sugar, oak, and a distinct tartness. Flavor was equally tart, with some notes of oak, honey, and light citrus and spice. Very nice brew that goes a little against the grain and I like it.

330ml bottle thanks to xnoxhatex. Pours a hazed orange with a soapy white head. Citrus, banana, and yeast in the aroma. Citrus creamy banana and toffee sweet flavors. Sugary sweet but decent.

33cl Bottle. Hazy golden color with a medium lacing off-white head. The aroma is fantastic lots of fruit, spices, oak, calvados, alcohol, malt, caramel. A pleasure. The taste is even better Sweet malty, orange, pear, caramel, a warming taste of calvados, oak, vanilla. So complex and yet so drinkable. Despite the warming alcohol presence the 10% is very well hidden (I honestly believe that I could have many bottles in one go). This is for me (by far) the best Tripel ever! I’m ordering more bottles and will try and taste it in different period as they age (if i can manage and don’t drink them alla at once).I was expecting it to be good but not that good ! Well done Struise !

330cl bottle shared by devon. thank you sir.... pours a semi-transparent apple cider brown with a thin soapy white head... aroma of sweet candied sugar liqueur, a little fruity paired with some toffee malt....flavors of sweet honey, cidery sweetness, bubblegum, and almost brandy-esque. pretty nice and would like to try again.

In short: An intense beer with a strong white wine barrel character. Excellent sipper.
How: Bottles 12oz. Shared by Chris (Ebenezer’s owner) at Ebenezer’s
The look: Cloudy blonde body topped by a small white head
In long: Nose is fruity (white grapes), alcohol fumes and slightly floral. Sugary honeyed malts reminiscent of an oily crusty pie crust. The woody and fruity/vinous flavour was like licking the bottom of a white wine barrel. Alcohol is present. Body is a bit fluffy. I actually liked this one a lot but I have the feeling that I will lower my score if/when I drink full bottle by myself. This is what Allagash Victor/Victoria should have been. But unfortunately like it is often the case, the easy to purchase beer are the ones I don’t wanna purchase, just like most nudists are the people I don’t wanna see naked.
