Nov 19, 2009 Bottle thanks to thirdeye11. Crisp amber pour with a white head. Sweet fruits, yeast and alcohol scents. Great on the palate with a big sweet fruit flavor and no hint of alcohol whatsoever.

Nov 17, 2009 Bottle. Hazy orange with small white head, very lacy. Aroma of a variety of spices, earthy and floral, notes of citrus, booze and yeast. Flavor is somewhat sweet and balanced with lighter citrus hops. Medium bodied, syrupy-sticky texture.

Nov 9, 2009 Bottle. Pours a lovely rust orange with thin, persistent offwhite head; I got some yeast in there, so grayish floaties spot the glass, as well. The aroma is assertive spicy yeast with a tangerine and lemon quality, a hint of white raisin, and a little bit of oak. The flavor is spicy alcohol and yeast, coriander, and lemon. There’s a mild honey and raisin sweetness, but overall the beer is on the dry side, which I like. Once in a while I get a sort of tropical taste in the middle of the mouth. The finish is much like an oaky chardonnay, with a bit of remnant yeasty character. That spicy alcohol lingers into the aftertaste. Quite a good brew.

Nov 8, 2009 Bottle. Pours slight hazy amber coloured with a nice big lacing and lasting off white head. Aromas of dried fruit, caramel, sugar, orange fruit and some alcohol. Rich and sweet flavour with notes of caramel, dried fruit, yeast and warming alcohol. Great beer.

Oct 27, 2009 pours an opaque honey-amber color with some suspended sediment. light tan head with nice retention and lacing. aroma is saison-like...mild spice and alcohol, some fruitiness and orange peel. also smells a bit like stille nacht. flavor is sticky sweet up front followed by spice and leather with a touch of grassiness but somewhat off and muddled. mouthfeel is nice and silky, lively with a very dry finish. not too bad but not up to my expectations of struise...

Oct 26, 2009 I do want to thank my wife for it she picked it up for me. Poured into a tulip I got a finger worth of white head that trailed to a thin lace. The color of the brews body was peachy orange. Some floaties were there as well
Aromas of a slight earthy funk, candy sugar and spices (Nutmeg) filled my nose. The flavor was close to the nose. Sweet and earthy with some great Christmas spices. I treated it like a sipper and I loved it. The brew felt about medium bodied in my mouth with good carbonation.
If my wife wants to buy me another I gladly drink it again. I might even buy one myself

Oct 24, 2009 Draught (vintage 2008) at Stockholm Beer Festival 2009. Hazy orange amber color. Sweet and tart aroma with gooseberry, red currant, toffee and honey. Sweet and tart-berryish flavor with red currant, spicy toffee and meat broth. Thick body. Very original, hopefully we will meet again.
