| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 2, 2008 Bottle at Ulfborg RB tasting. Thanks to fonefan and brugmansia for sharing this beauty. Similar to the Tsjeeses Reserva but is more fruity. That means lots of spices like coriander in aroma and flavour along with a very fruity background. Its great. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 28, 2008 My Bottom Line:
This sweet and spicy Tripel delights with its multifaceted dried fruitiness, its soft roundness and its doughy yeastiness, taking a creative and luxurious stance I’d like to witness more often in the style.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam sits atop the orange-tinged golden.
-Alcohol is quite subtle in the flavor profile.
-A touch of herbal hops graces the background.
-Spiciness and grain bill are harmonious.
-Orange peel allusions are important.
Bottle; best before October 2010.
