Commercial Description:
Deep to orange blond abbey triple winterbeer which has been lagered for 8 months on different stonefruits. Tsjeeses was born out of a 5 year brew experience regarding x-mas beer without being capable of finding a suitable name up to now. With the name came a face, a caricature actually, that was drawn on the day Urbain, our brew master and master brewer, drank too many Tsjeeses's. Every time he drinks one, he says "Tsjeeses, what a beer". Therefore the name is more an expression of stupefaction than a curse. We have had already many discussions around the pronounciation of "Tsjeeses". Very close would be that you say "cheeses" or cheese in plural.

Tap at Toronado SD. This is the best Tripel I have ever tasted, and perhaps the best Belgian style. Aroma of grape and Flemish sour. Flavors of light wheat, yeast, sour, oak, grape, apple juice, and sparkle. Just immaculate. I thought Struiselensis was the beer of theirs I would drink any day, but I was wrong. This is a masterpiece. Note two weeks later: the bottle version is not as good.

Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Cloudy deep golden, firm head. Fruity nose with herbal spices - cinnamon and ginger spring to my mind. Vinous with vital, rounded mouthfeel. Fiery alcohol lies undeneath and some pleasant lactic acidity adds freshness and complexity. Full bodied. So wonderfully complex - every sip brings out a new aspect. There’s orange and butter, berries and, muscat wines and everything else I want. I tried to be a sceptic, but failed hopelessly. Oh, what a beer!

Light brown with nice foam and taste is fantastic. Some dried fruit, that I can’t put my finger on. Taste likes nothing I have tasted before. Fantastic!

In the 330 mL bottle. Thanks to mdi for the beer! Pours a dark gold with a creamy off white head. Has the aroma of freshly baking bisquits in the oven. The first flavor is a mix of Pixie Sticks and 7-Up. This is a very grain-enriched beer. It has the dense fruitiness of pears and apricots. The honey-like nectar is big. There’s a sublime tartness discernable throughout the beer. I’m lovin’ it.

33cl Bottle at KBF Poperinge. Pours a slight hazy golden orange blond beer with creamy big thick white head on top. Aroma is very fruity with lots of malts, bread, some nuts and hints of mint. The taste is again very malty with hints of biscuit, bread nuts and lots of fruitiness. Medium bodied, alcohol well hidden and very well balanced. The more you get to the finish, the more the alcohol bites but not overwhelming. Slight hoppy aftertaste.

Golden bronze colored ale, with a beautiful head of white creamy foam. Flavor is elegant and well structured, loaded with depth and nuance. Very sweet, well layered and complex, with well concentrated flavors from start to finish. Notes of peach and pear. Elegant mouth fell. Purely Belgian in every way. Wow, wow, wow. STUNNING.
