Hazy light gold pour under an impressive white head with good staying power. Very yeasty, bready aroma with hints of citrus. This has somewhat more body than most Witbiers, there’s a refreshing effervescence, and some nice mouth cleansing acidity. Interesting interplay between honey sweetness and a lemon like sourness, and just the faintest touch of soft bitterness for a clean , dry finish. A very superior Witbier. I wish I could get this all the time. sliffy (2012), Columbus, Ohio, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 8, 2007 Bottle. Aroma: Wheat maltiness, lemony citrus, peppery spiciness with some coriander notes, light floral. Appearance: Light yellow in color and slightly hazed. Bright white head was huge and foamy with good retention. Nice lacing. Flavor: Wheat, malt, and yeast. Peppery spice and floral notes. Lemony citrus with a surprising amount of sourness. Medium dry finish. Palate: Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Overall: Not your typical wit, but interesting. I liked the sourness, but would have liked some more flavors to back it up. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 4, 2007 Poured a hazy white multi-textured straw color with a bustling three-finger head. Bubbly! Nose of sweet citrus and mild malts. Tasted lemon-citrusy and bready. Very mild. I could easily drink far more than my share of this beer. Plays like a Belgian session brew. Quite nice! | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 24, 2007 I agree with Oakes about the random weirdness in this one, but I enjoyed that random weirdness much more than he did. The pour was hazy dull straw color with 2-finger whitish head. Aroma is pale malt, hopcitrus, clove, orange zest, chardonnay, pear. The taste was malty, hopcitric, with chardonnay, spicy clovey notes, and finishing pear notes. Certainly not a textbook wit, but score one for originality. Oakes (8101), gone rambling, Cambodia
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 22, 2007 I like wit, I like Struise. Hazy light beige colour. Appley, yeasty, malty nose. Whacky...cheesy with tart apple and orange and random spices. Lots of random weirdness that never does quite come together in any meaningful way.
