A hint of sweetness before the sourness hits in the mouth. Unfortunately the sourness seems to fade and be a little quiter and thinner than expected. Petrucci914 (585), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 1, 2008 Pours a straw color with a thin white head. Aroma is sour, tart grapes, and some funk. Taste is sour, green grapes, horse blanket, and finishes dry. What a standard sour should be. Juelze (906), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA

Pours a hazy straw yellow color with thin white whispy head. Aroma is of horseblanket, light berry, and light wood notes. Taste is sour fruit, strawberry, and musty wood. Light carbonation clean finish. Good stuff! Maria (6286), Thisted, Denmark
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 1, 2008 It’s a hazy, warm golden beer with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of sour, green grapes, light vinegar, hose blanket, cellar and sheep. The flavour has notes of sour, green grapes, horse blanket, loads of sour, green apples and it ends on a dry note with a hint of lemon. I’m surprised by this one, I actually liked it a lot, and it’s very refreshing, and the brett is exactly right for me. brentfeesh (1039), Gadsden, Alabama, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Oct 27, 2008 12oz bottle thanks to pepsican – Perfect 10 trade. Cloudy amber pour. Wonderfully tart aroma with plenty of fruit and maybe some other light notes in there like wet hey and Belgian candy. The taste does not disappoint. Apple, pear and peach all soured together in a delicious creation. A bit lacking in depth of flavor (La Folie for example has more going on) but the sour blend is perfect. Tart medium bodied brew. Refreshing and delicious. Thanks for the bottle! Suttree (2734), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 27, 2008 Cloudy yellow, thin white head. Appley, winey, peary aroma, maybe a few woody notes, too. Very sour, or at least more sour than I was expecting. Lots of fruity, appley notes mixed with white wine. Easy to drink, very enjoyable. Fin (3446), Merton, Oxfordshire, England
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 26, 2008 Bottle picked up in Kobenhaven, Denmark September 2008 Pours light amber with a little light carbonation. A nicely sour beer with some nice oak and woody flavours. This actually has more than a nod to a decent cider such is the crisp dry and appley tang to this beer, but a cider mixed with other fruity flavours and yeast. A very nice beer but one that suffered from having been opened after the Hommage and as such it tended to sit in the shadow of that a little. nbutler11 (767), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 21, 2008 Acquired this for ajm, who generously poured me a sample. Loaded with unripe peaches an strawberries, but balanced with yeast to the point where I actually might drink this again. Perhaps the best sour I’ve had to date.
