This blonde and slight sour ale is the result of a research combining Brettanomyces Bruxellensis and Pediococus Cerivisae from Wyeast and some skills out of the Wild Woesten.

Bottle from my good buddy nbutler11. What a treat! Nice floral, blonde aroma with the sourness just a hint at the nose stage. Flavor is fuller, more acrid and quite fruity. Finishes like a dry cider gone sour, which is what draws me to this beer - I am a sucker for Ciders. I was telling tales about this being in my Top 10 last night, which is patently untrue. But my Overall score is meant to signify that I will drink this anywhere, any time. Quite refreshing!

I sommehus m. Jesper. Pours a clear golden with a white diminishing head. Sweet with a mild sourness. Aromas of forest berries and some vinegar. Hint of athletes foot. High carbonation and quite champagnelike mouthfeel.

355 ml. bottle into sniffer. I am not one for light colored beers but this ones looks great - crystal clear light honey golden color with a light pinkish/tangerine hue to it. Very subtly unique color. Descent to minimal sized white head that fades pretty quickly to just a ring on the surface - no lace. The aroma is subtle but very delicatley complex, with yeasty funkyness, some white grapes, some oak and cherries, sour apples, champagne, and more. This is the most drinkable and balanced sour I have had by far - very light and subtle character reminiscent of white wine, champagne, light sweet hops, complex citrus notes (both sweet and sour), and oak - somewhat reminiscent of a light balanced geuze. Some cereal yeastiness late in the finish. I am also not one for carbonated beers, but this one is just perfectly appropriate and fitting with the flavor - light fervent carbonation sizzling on the tongue with a dry tart finish. Overall, this thing is simple, but has some serious complexities to dig for; very clean and refreshing sour/tart flavor that is in no way vinegary like a couple sours I have had. (RE-RATE) My second bottle. Firstly, this is a very wierd sittuation. This Bottle is filled literally to the top - with less than a quarter of an inch of airspace in the bottle. I am hoping this will be a good thing: less air = less oxygenation. Either way, more beer for me!! Here we go:Still looking and smelling great. Flavor is very crisp refreshing and dry with just a hint of funk coming through in the finish. I still believe that this is an awesome brew.

Tasted shortly after Cantillon Kriek which was so sour that my tastebuddy had to give up on it. Clear golden with a rich white head. Aroma of citrus tart berries and barnyard. Flavor is medium acidic and seem like a good beer to serve for a sour beginner. Again with lots of citrus and some wet horse.
