The aroma was lambic like and sour. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish. The flavor contained notes of something between the cross of a cider and a lambic with strong citrousy sour notes. cmillward (437), Orlando, Florida, USA

Leaves a little lacing and has nice small bubbles trickling up through the glass. At first this is cheesy on the nose, barnyard, then strawberries, tart, honeyish, a spicy kick. In flavor this is tart and sour, an impression of tart apples, and a spicy finish. Wonderful carbonation, perfect dry finish, just fantastic. Wow! The spicy vs. tart/sour on this was incredible. Big thanks to mcbackus for hooking me up with this! airforce1 (61), Atascosa, Texas, USA

Small creamy white diminishing head with fair lacing. Hazy yellow golden body. Fruity - nice aroma of blackcurrant and raspberry. Average malt aroma and light hop aroma. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation. The flavor has an average duration, is light sweet, moderate acidic and light bitter. Very well balanced flavor. All in all a good beer with a nice fruity aroma and a acidic background. vyvvy (2068), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 20, 2008 Pours orange / copper with a small white head. The aroma has dry tart fruits, funky yeast, light underlying sweetness, nice malt backing and an overall cleanness to everything. Medium crisp body that ends up a bit sticky with some graininess in there as well. There is soft frothy carbonation. The flavor starts with a sweet/tart sweetness, star fruit, passion fruit and lots of funky wild yeast. The finish is clean, tart, sweet, refreshing and highly enjoyable. This comes with quite the price tag, but is well worth giving at least one try. Marsiblursi (1659), Göteborg, Sweden

The mouthfeel is dry and medium carbonated. Medium bodied. BartC (402), Lichtaart, Belgium
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 17, 2008 Color of old gold. Heardly any head. The aroma is a balance between fruits and a mild tartness of Geuze. Mild tartness in the flavour as well. Some fruitiness, no hopbitterness. The Bretts have clearly won the battle.
