Cloudy yellow colour with medium head. Sour and citric aroma. It really bites my tongue and the bitterness explodes in the back of my throat. Cant find any sweetness in here but funny enough I continue to drink the beer. Might be better if I had some chocolate to temper the sour bitterness. Grovlam (3809), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 26, 2008 Bottle. Huge fizzy white head that really lasted. Cloudy golden color with good display of lacework. This is a Lambic light, with notes of classic Brett. Barnyard, soap, sour fruity feel, citrus, spice and some underlying malty notes that set it apart from a Lambic. Medium bodied with a lively carbonation and dry texture. Moderated sour flavor with good counter sweetness. Sour citrus like finish. Very nice and enjoyed this one over Easter dinner. hapjydeuce (771), Del Mar, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 26, 2008 Bottled, thanks to pantanap for this bonus. Slightly hazy blond pour with a medium rocky head. Bountiful carbonation. Modest-strength aroma that is mostly dominated by the wild yeast and bacteria strains used, resulting in a sour green apple and acidic leather funk. Plenty of lemon and pear citrus in the flavor that follows up with a very tart finishing character. The addition of pediococcus bacteria adds a different layer of complexity to the brett presence. Pretty good. tjthresh (1771), Greenfield, Indiana, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 25, 2008 Bottle from MrBendo. Pour is hazy golden with a stiff snow white head. The nose is certainly full of brett. Some citrus dish soap, funky cheese, and and some grass/straw/hay notes. The flavor is acidic, yogurt, tangy, with a damn sour finish. Medium body. High carbonation. Dry finish. Why is this not considered a sour ale? rickgordon (3300), Göteborg, Sweden

Hazy yellow colour with low head, leaving nice lacing. Cheesy, sourish aroma with green apples and hops(?). Really milky acidic yet with good maltiness as backup. Very dry and bit woody. Not ultra complex but damn tasty! thornecb (1774), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Mar 24, 2008 Pours bright gold into a tulip. Bright white head quickly recedes to skim surface and hug rim. Sour apple aromas. Crisp aspirin upfront with a dry, lactic apple with a hint of brett finish. after4ever (2762), Brier, Washington, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 24, 2008 330. Bright crystal clear medium orange. Little head. Nearly laceless. Super bright green apple nose. Medium fizzy body. Green apples, light cherry on the mid-palate, along with some mineral sour. Light mineral finish. GreatLibations (1442), Last Supper, Arizona, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 23, 2008 Pours golden w/ a modest shortlived froth leaving a decent lace. Aromas of sour apple cider and a bit of spice. Light to medium nectar w/ ample residual effers. As sip this brew slowly my lips are sucked in as if my mouth was imploding or a vacuum were turned on from inside. This is the physiological effect a beer w/ brett has on the user. Pure sourness w/ stone fruit and green apples. Nuances from a cedar cigar box make the scene. The finish is bittered executively leaving the palate scarred for life. It’s crisp, clean, dry, and very sour.
