This blonde and slight sour ale is the result of a research combining Brettanomyces Bruxellensis and Pediococus Cerivisae from Wyeast and some skills out of the Wild Woesten.
Special beer by Struise as a tribute to Lembeek brewers.

Bottle, pours golden hazy with thin white head. Aroma some tart fruits of apple/pear, funky yeast and plenty of sourness Taste, sour, lightly fruity apple/pear, champagne like yeast. Plenty of sourness but remains highly drinkable with light vinegary palate. Remidned me a lot of an overly sour apple cider.

bottle, pours gold with a thin white head that laces well. White grape, apple, and gueuze aromas. Light hay/malt and a sweet peach flavor turn sour with a vinegar, wood, and earthyness. Interesting and ends dry with a lingering oak flavor in the back of the mouth. Moderate to high carbonation. Interesting, but I’m not crazy about sours.

Pours a slightly hazy gold with a thin fizzy white head. Aroma is green apple, a hint of brett, lemon, musty wood, basement, a good amount of wet rock, dust, straw, grassy earth notes and some berry. Flavor is lemon, vinegar, apple skins, sour cherry, limestone, brett, dry moss, green twig and just a hint of tart cherry. Finish is sour and earthy with a little gravel road dust. Palate is medium slightly oily and has a fairly high carbonation. Good stuff.

The pour reveals a clear dark golden color with a thin white head. As soon as i removed the cork, I smelled some brettanomcyces, there’s also a green apple presence along some sourness. The flavor is a bit more restrained that what I though, but I like class and balance in a beer, so this isn’t a let down. In the mouth, there’s a presence of brettanomyces, green apples, there’s sourness and a soily, earthy feeling. The body is medium to full with a creamy, slightly oily texture and gentle carbonation. All in all this is a very well crafted beer and I like it a lot.

33cl bottle from alvine shop, i don’t like the style of beer but i’m still trying to get the hang of it, the first taste was like licking a lemon.

Bottle from JB185. Thanks! Pours dark golden with a short lived white fizzy head. Smell is lightly funky and tart with lemon and dustiness. Kind of berlinner weiss like in the smell. Taste is sour and bland. Somewhat berlinner weiss like, with more sourness than simple bretty funk and dustiness. Sour green apple like a Granny Smith and pretty dry and somewhat funky with a cheesy note in the end too. Really puckers the mouth. I thought this was decent, but not a repeat buy.
