| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jan 23, 2009 Bottle: Poured a golden yellow with a little bit of head. The aroma was a tart fruit salad. The flavor was smooth, tart, sweet, apples, pears, funk, sours, oak, and grapes. Overall, this beer is extremely drinkable and the sourness is not overdone. An excellent beer. grandgenie (252), gatineau, Quebec, Canada

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 18, 2009 Pours hazy gold with no head. Delicate apple and pear notes seem enhanced by the sour aroma. Slight sweet caramel notes and subtle barnyard funk also present. Flavor is fantastic, and the sourness is not overpowering. Apple and pear again, some light flowery notes, citrus, and a beautiful long, moderately dry finish. inkubus27 (252), Highland, Indiana, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 13, 2009 Pours a hazy golden color with not much of a head. And I just don’t get the appeal to the aroma of sours. This smells like my 90 year old grandma’s house. It’s not appetizing. Other than that, the taste is very good. Has just enough sourness, and doesn’t completely dry out your palate. A decent beer, but I have a bias against sours. bp (461), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 12, 2009 Bottle: pours a light yellow with just a bit of haze, very thin white head that laces around the edge of the tulip glass, sour, bretty aroma, not too stank though, taste is very tart at first and then mellows out, some citrus, some fizzy carbination, dry finish. Nice stuff! jerc (3954), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 8, 2009 2008-12-20. Golden yellow with a tiny quick white head. Sour-funk aroma, sour citrus/lemons briefly. Flavour is similarly sour with touches of lemon citrus sourness. Strongly acidic/sour finish. Sourness grows with each sip. It does have some more delicate notes to it but they require you to look with more effort than you should. Sourness is the dominant overall impression. Smooth average to medium bodied palate. Decent, but just ok. Bottle courtesy of HogTownHarry or Premier Gourmet, I forget which

Aroma of sour oak.First sip is a little sour but once you get past that its awesome brett not over done and highly drinkable. Just enough sourness to make this Flemish sour rock with highly drink ability. For someone who was wanting to get into or experiment with sour beer this is an awesome place to start..Recommend FlssmrBrewAlum (1177), Lisle, Illinois, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 6, 2009 Bottle compliments of Beerlando’s extras. Pours a golden hue, hazy with small offwhite head that dissipates quickly. Well carbonated body, bright and cheery brew. Aromas are easily picked out: Sour grapes and cherries mixed with oak and some light funk round out a largely sour nose. Taste starts a little sour and fizzy on the tounge, moving to a moderate to lighter moderate tartness, light oak and sour grapes mixed with some nice citrus and bretty funk that adds to the sourness. Finishes dry and crisp on the palate, leaving some elements of the sourness and funk on the aftertaste, but not much. A decent sour, sessionable, pretty good.
