Commercial Description:
This blonde and slight sour ale is the result of a research combining Brettanomyces Bruxellensis and Pediococus Cerivisae from Wyeast and some skills out of the Wild Woesten.
Special beer by Struise as a tribute to Lembeek brewers.

Bottled. This beer is really weird to me, when I know what I drink, I really like it and buy many bottles in Ølbutikken, but then Papsø served it for me blind and I gave it a 2.4 (5/3/4/3/9), since I thougt it was an infected beer, not supposed to taste like this.

A hazy dark golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is acidic with notes of brettanomyces, citrus and other fruits on a weak malty back ground. The flavor is lovely acidic (when I know what I’m drinking) leaving a tart note on the palate and tongue, combined with notes of brettanomyces, citrus, barnyard, lactic acid, and straw.

Draught at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Clear pale golden, rich head. Aroma of lactic acid, balsamic raspberry and winegum. Dry and fairly light bodied, soft and vital with freshening acidity. Feels like a copy of the American copies of the Belgian sour originals. Each copying adds a dimension, whereas other details get lost.

75 cL bottle, thanks to BierKönig. Pours hazy yellow to orange with a white head - leaves a nice and lasting lacework. Aroma is light citrus and a very mild note of horseblanket. Flavour is medium dry with a solid brett-citric/acidic flavour - yet it is nicely balanced, smooth and crisp compared to classic lambics. Light citrus fruity, mild yeast note and a little malt base too. Goes into a smooth and very controlled acidic finish. Clearly a quite approachable/drinkable lambic-like brew, so I thought....my wife didn’t - back to square one :)

Blind tasting at Papsoes place, another great session, thanks Henrik! Beer #22: Pours hazy yellow with a lacing white head. Dry woody and acidic aroma. Flavour is acidic and dry. Light citric. Light fruity note in addition. Dry acidic finish. Not good.
