Commercial Description:
This blonde and slight sour ale is the result of a research combining Brettanomyces Bruxellensis and Pediococus Cerivisae from Wyeast and some skills out of the Wild Woesten.
Special beer by Struise as a tribute to Lembeek brewers.

ehh, it’s alright. Way too heavy for a lambic style brew. It is sour, slightly complex with hints of sour apples and lemon zest, and looks nice in the glass, but the pedio is a little bit overwhelming and the FG is just too much to enjoy. I think a bit more brett might even the beer out, but over all it was a nice precursor to some Cantillon and 3F offerings.

have had 2 bottles recently, 1 was just Ok. not sure if it was new / younger or older than the 2nd bottle. either way, 1 was great the other was Ok, this score is on the great one. tons of funk, horse blanket, brett, poopy diaper..yum. great texture, balanced sour, excellent finish. floral to the max, lemon and very enjoyable. easy to savor a small 33cl bottle for almost an hour. thought the 1 good bottle would age for 10+ years, other bottle i’m guessing with time would of gained this complexity, holding the 1 more I have.

Thanks to Mike for the bottle! np10v4. I have to say I like this one a lot more then earthmonk. Slightly different style but still slightly similar. Almost still bright orange pour. Aroma of lemon, Brett, and wheat. Sweet up front with a dry tart finish. Notable hints of Brett, green apples and grains.

Strong aroma of sour vanilla, oak, fruity orange and subtle barnyard. Crystal clear and bright golden amber with a rocky white head. Complex flavor with two main parts. A sweet and tart/sour combination and an underlying malt flavor that carries it. Very fruity. Light body, dry finish but with a satisfying body. Not overly thin at all.

Poured a hazy golden color with a short white ring of fizzy foam. The aroma was light funk and plenty of sour lemon. The flavor was sour lemon and a touch of funk. A bit of soap and floral crept in as well. Thin mouthfeel. Very dry. Refreshing.

Bottle. 11.2 oz. Pours hazy golden orange with a thin, quickly-fading white head. No lacing. Aroma of earth, hops, lemon, grapefruit, and hints of tea. Medium, almost sticky mouthfeel. Extremely tangy, bitter finish. Very good sour ale.

Pours a cloudy golden orange/amber color with a one finger foam white head that quickly settles into a lasting ring. Not much lacing. Tart funky aroma with crisp golden light fruit notes. Apple and pear notes with a subtle maltiness and slight hop presence. Tart, sour and funky with some light golden fruit notes, mostly apple and pear with some slight banana notes. Slight malt backbone provides decent balance. There are some slight citrus peel notes and a very refreshing dry tart finish.

This is good stuff. Lots of lacto. Tangy. Apples and pears. Very good. I’m enjoying this brew.
