Can, 500 ml,15.1 P
Appearance: Pours moderate golden colour, the repulsive fact about this strong version of Strzelec is that the body has something like some sediments of the unknown origin. I think that these are rather not wild yeasts strains!!! Oh, for sure no, it’s something of a disgusting kind. For sure not interesting.
Aroma: No character, dogs food, a hint of apple juice or even an apple plonk, toilet water, only thing that makes a more positive impression is fresh hoppy and a bit citrusy aroma. Generally one dimentional, lacking in chalkyness, slightly alcoholic nose. Hints of accidity becoming more present when the beer gets warm. Still not tragically bad
Flavour: Flavour is in its front very similar to the light version of ’Strzelec’, against very strongly accidic, some notes of grains on palate and mainly the dominating flavour of old wooden, accidic barrel, cucumber, tangy palate in the aftertaste. Finish duration is short to average.
Palate: Very metallic, moderate chalky, slightly alcoholic towards the end, but due to its strong accidity alcohol is rather well hidden under the accid texture, considerable notes of grains in the aftertaste which due to strong accidity becomes average.
Jukkabro (2369), Tampere, Finland Mar 27, 2008 (BBE 2/08) Light orange colored, little vanishing white head. Sweet and grainy, somehow caramelly an toffeish aroma, mild alcohol also comes up. Medium bodied. Flavor is more cardboardy with honey and grains, aftertaste turns to lemony with slight alcohol. Some tangy berries also in aftertaste. Well, I’ve had better mocnes. BeerBiker (1186), Odense, Denmark Nov 12, 2007 [Bottle from Anna bought in Polen sampled with the Swamp-lovers.] Typical strong easteuropean beer with notes of strong straws, alcohol, stickyness, metalhops and, as Miksu adds, some honey! Miksu (1252), Jyväskylä, Finland Oct 13, 2007 0.5 can. Golden color with small head. Sweetish, malty, honeyish and solventy aroma with notes of fruity esters. Malty, honeyish, cardboardy and solventy flavor. Quack-Duck (1755), Bodensee, Germany Jul 29, 2007 can. Golden yellow colour, large and creamy head. Quite hoppy, malty as well but not sweet.
