jbrus (4305), Delft, Netherlands Apr 14, 2003 Malty aroma. Golden color, white head, good lace. Malty, but tastes like a standard pilsener or lager although almost 8%. Malty finish. Quack-Duck (1973), Bodensee, Germany Jul 29, 2007 can. Golden yellow colour, large and creamy head. Quite hoppy, malty as well but not sweet. Hints of herbs. Pleasantly hoppy strong lager. D (502), Kraków, Poland Nov 3, 2005 Golden colour, medium head, rather disappearing. Slight bitterness, significant hops flavour. Bitter & alcohol aftertaste. Quite good for a Polish strong. Radek Kliber (3403), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 11, 2003 White head did not last to long which is normal with such strong lager. Sweet aroma, very little alcohol present. Good job on this. Typical example of so called Euro Strong Lager, 20 plus of this style are found in Poland so should we call Classic Polish Strong Lager? Sweet, slightly oily, medium body, alcohol present in aftertaste. bierkoning (5077), La Tropica, Netherlands Dec 31, 2002 Slight hayaroma. Very light color. Fairly sweet, malty and very fruity (orange) A bit vegetable-like flavor. I really can’t taste the high alcohol content. 6% seems more likely.
