Pours dark brown with little to no head. Aroma is of herbs, coffee, a hint of choclate, and as PilsnerPeter said, a bit of oxidation smell to it. Taste is quite unrefreshing. Some smoke, some herbal foulness, and some serious oxidation flavor. I get the feeling that QC is not a big deal in Trinidad. This was written without looking at ratings, but Pilsenerpeters rating could not escape my attention. Spot on man.....spot on. I have nothing more to add to this.

| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Jul 20, 2009 Bottle: Found at a market in Roseau, Dominica during a cruise. Pours a murky headless brown with a sweet papery oxidized character.Has notes of Milk chocolate and graham cracker. Fizzy and thin body- terrible on the palate- Has the texture of flat seltzer. To date, this is probably only the second beer I’ve given a one to for palate out of over 2,200 ratings. It tastes like a flat seltzer that had a lit cigar thrown into it with old construction paper and expired chocolates thrown in. This bottle was way too old, or the beer is just that gross and oxidized in a poor bottling system. Beershine (2754), Traipsing Around, Cambodia
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Mar 20, 2009 Bottle, St. Lucia. Pours dark brown with a small fizzy brown head that fades fast. Nice dark chocolate malt aromas are enhanced by the herbs. Fruity. Body is light and so is the carbonation. A slight tang titillates the tastebuds, introducing the unique character of the beer before subsiding into a nice mild maltiness and finishes clean. A good breakfast stout, I liked it. harrisoni (6830), Ashford, Kent, England

Startling sweet marmite cola aroma. It does make you cringe. Soy sauce. It’s actually not off, just not very good. Too oily and full of soy sauce. MesandSim (5939), London, Greater London, England

| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jun 1, 2008 Bottle at London tasting, May 2008 (courtesy harrisoni). Black colour. Marmite & soy sauce aroma with some oxidised notes. Tastes like sweet cola with added ashtray. Thin and very sweet, with some late, harsh, herbal (think Angostura) bitterness. Our bottle said it contains Ginseng, Yohimbe, Tribulus and Bois Bande, which may account for the herbal notes. These are supposedly for "stamina and satisfaction". Don’t know about that but, as a drinking experience, it was pretty unpleasant.
