| A Wheat Ale brewed by Stumptown Brewery Guerneville, California USA
| |
Wulfstan (434), California, USA May 22, 2008 Updated: Jun 13, 2008 This is a decent, rather typical American wehat ale: not bad, but nothing interesting, either. To me, beers like this a basically competitors to basic pale lagers and I’ll almost always choose the latter since I usually find them more interesting and enjoyable.
Faintly cloudy gold, it has a medium white head that soon srhinks to a thin top.
The aroma is light grain and with a hint of pine.
The taste is mostly light grain but it has a citrusy hint and a light bite. It’s slightly watery and very faintly rough on the toungue but it’s druinkable and pleasantly light
