Malty and rich with alcohol presence. Very nicely done. It’s been over 10 years since I was at the brewpub; this brew gives me a reason to go back. ChrisPants (317), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA

Many different elements took turns trying to capture my attention, such as chocolate, coffee, toffee, nuts and toasted bread. Molasses sweetness was complemented by moderately bitter, grassy hops. Warming alcohol was cozy. ’Twas a wholesome, chewy beer that I found rather tasty. My favorite of the Sudwerk beers. bb (2919), Martinez, California, USA

Rich caramel malt flavor with some raisin fruit flavors. Their own brewpub serves it way too carbonated. Jeppe (2638), Ølbutikken, Denmark

Sweet malt and caramel aroma with a good roasted tone - mild and nice. Roasted malty flavor with sugary notes. Good taste but lacks some bitterness, it is a little too sweet.
