Bottle poured a cloudy yellow with a quickly disappering white head. Aromas of bread, cloves, and a hint of banana. Palate was creamy and refreshing. Flavors of bread, cloves and light banana with a crisp spicy finish.

Had an aroma of wheat and spices. Hazy yellow body with small head that disappeared quickly. Flavor was spice driven at first and heavy on the palate. But by the finish got a tart citrus pear flavor and aftertaste to it. Not to bad.

On tap at Amnesia. I may be totally off my rocker, but this was terrible. Had the lightest, weakest flavor to it, and that flavor was wheaty, pale-y, nothing. Very carbonated, and has a big head. Even the lemon couldn’t save this.

Bottle: Cloudy straw pour with a frothy white head that vanishes almost instantly, this is an okay hefeweizen. The aroma is almost sourly tart, banana with a definite lemon twist. It has a more robust, spritzier mouthfeel than I would expect for the style. The flavor is dominated by banana with little room for malt or the spices usually associated with the style. The wheat driven acidity is definitely present, and the ale finishes with a tart, lemony note.

Draft from Mar 05 visit to Sac/Davis. Straw pale yellow and cloudy with a foamy white head. Served maybe a tad too cold. Light malty and banana nose and flavor. Crisp, and maybe a bit overcarbonated. Although some reviews indiciate a spiciness, I don’t mention any in my notes.

Bottled. Pours a hazy pale yellow color with lots of sediment floating around. Strong yeasty aroma. Light flavor. Some wheat/yeast flavor. A little bit of a spicy flavor. Some sweetness in the background. Super drinkable. Quality brew.

Hazy yellow-gold. Light body was a little too thin. Lively carbonation, but it somehow managed to keep a little creaminess. Mild sweetness. Ginormous banana esters. Clove and a balancing bitterness followed through in the finish. Decent hefe, but the malt profile was a little lacking IMHO.

Murky amber, tiny bubbles, and white frothy head. Nose was wheaty, yeasty, fruity, and spicy. Some carbonation. Medium body. Refreshing flavor. Some spice. Good wheat beer.
