Sep 30, 2009 An amber IPA with a thin creamy white head. A rather strong butterscotch aroma, wiht light c-hops. In mouth, a crisp malt with light British hops, very mild and boring. Medium bodied. On tap at brewpub, August 27 2009.

Dec 14, 2008 Great aroma on this one. Good hop taste, but the bitter is a little much. Very different from the San Diego style IPAs I have been having lately, much more upfront sweetness and crazy lingering bitter. Good, but old school, ?, maybe...Will call it good for what it is.

Aug 17, 2008 On tap at the brewery. Amber with a lasting head. Not very aromatic, with some earthy hops and toasty malt. The flavor is a dry, toasty malt flavor with plenty of bitterness and not too much floral or fruity hop flavor. Alright, but not one of their better beers.

Jul 16, 2008 Very bitter and refreshing. Full of bittering hops with not much in the way of florals. Still, there are some. It lacks the dankness of a truly great IPA, or the pure floral outburst of an outstanding IPA. The nose is biscuity with the small amount of florals in this one. Not very balanced - not much to chew on either.

Jan 12, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. Strong floral? hop aroma. It was served way too cold. Darkish amber color with a fine beige head. Near medium body with very light carbonation. The flavor is a bit watery. Light malt and light floral hop. It has substance, but it has less impact than many IPAs. Based on the ratings, I wonder whether there is indeed more than one recipe.

Dec 21, 2007 On tap at Sudwerk. This brew is an excellent example of the genre. Very hoppy, strong brew that doesn’t let up and gives a strong aftertaste. Very good... comparable to Sierra.

Dec 21, 2007 On tap, part of the 10 beer sampler. Poured a yellow color with a nuch of hoppiness. It left me with a bitter aftertaste of I would have rated it higher.

Nov 24, 2007 Citrus and malt nose. Biscuit and caramel notes on the palate with little hop flavor. Mildly sweet and earthy finish.
