Pours deep ruddy brown with a tan finger thick head. Nose is sweet and malty as is the flavor, with candied sugar and dark fruit. Sweet finish.

From a 12oz Bottle. Mostly transparent, copper mahogany colored body with a finger of fizzy ivory head. Rich, malty aromas of graham cracker, light raisin melanoidins, and hints of caramelized pear. Medium bodied, softly carbonated mouthfeel with a rich, malty texture. Flavors of bread crust and teething biscuit with a hint of raisin nut bread. A bit too chewy, but the malt sugars don’t get excessively sweet. A pleasant hop bitterness helps dry up the finish. Tasty malt flavors, but needs a lighter body to help increase drinkability. It shouldn’t be a chore to finish a 12oz bottle.

Copper color and a a nice beige head. Aroma is malty - bread, caramel, sweetness. Flavor is also malty with some hop flavor and bitterness at the end. Very easy to drink.

A nice drinking o’fest that is a bit too chewy and under attenuated. Very drinkable and recommended, but not at the 9.99/six I paid at the local liquor store.

12 oz bottle bought at brewery. Pours nice smallish head, off white, copper colored with a hint of citrus. Aroma seemed to come and go. Very nice drinkable beer one of the better Marzens brewed in the area.

12oz bottle. Clear copper colored lager with a medium sized beige head that has some lasting foam. Smells like fresh bread with some malty caramel and hop spice. Lots of toasted bread and caramel flavors with some balancing ho spice, but the emphasis is placed squarely on the maltiness. Finishes with a lasting bitterness of medium intensity. Medium bodied. A nice märzen that might even be better than the bulk of the beers that I had in Munich last fall at Oktoberfest.

Just not that great of an Oktoberfest beer. Too sweet, and not very lively. Pours copper with white thin head.

This amber ale poured with a thin beige head and a malty aroma. The flavor is well-constructed with tasty caramel malt base and moderate hopping. It’s not spectacular, but it’s a good session beer.
