Wow. Excellent marzen, one of the best available. Fuller bodied than most marzens, which is why I like it. Great with pizza.

Not sure about this beer; I found it to be tasty at first sip, and go progressively bad as I continued to drink it. Very malty, but not even good malty- just kinda... bland.

A damn tasty beer--Sudwerk's best. Sweet amber maltiness, notes of honey, caramel, and dates. Aroma is cookie-like. Definitely a malt-lover's beer, but there are some fine hop fenestrations in the body. Can't get enough.

Sweet caramel yummyness! Deep copper brown color with good lacing. I could sense that this one would be good as it poured with a deep "glug glug glug" into my glass. Big malts in here, and backed up by a subtle hop that shows its face in the short lingering finish. Body is nice and thick, with an extra dose of fizzyness here and there. Good stuff.

Best Before 100901. This beer rocks. Big malty aroma. Thick off white head. Deep copper color. Not as malty as the aroma but still very good.

Bottled. Nice solid marzen. Had a little rasty flavor to it.

Clear light bronze. Dense, whipped white foam which leaves magnificent lacework. Classic Marzenesque aroma with big toffee and caramel notes. Lovely complementary shades of soft Hallertauer, mineral, and licorice. Elegantly creamy, round mouthfeel. Initial sweet, complex malt flavors are matched with white grape, caramel, fig, dough, and a delicate smooch of spicy Hallertauer. The malt profile here is lacking depth, but is resilient toward the finish. If it weren't for the trace of oxidation, this would be superb. Straightforward and elegant: The way a Märzen is meant to be. Heck yes, ChimayBabe!

Fruity aroma and flavor, lots of raisins in both. Malty but a subtle approach. Little to no head. Lots of carbonation.
