A nice drinking o’fest that is a bit too chewy and under attenuated. Very drinkable and recommended, but not at the 9.99/six I paid at the local liquor store.

~Scent of moderate toasted malts and some honey. ~Pours a deep orange red color, very clear. Firm small head. ~Rich malty sweetness in flavor with moderate hops. ~Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry bitter finish. ~Easy drinking session brew. Not my favorite style, but enjoyable.

A golden amber beer with a thick off white head. In aroma, a lightly nutty aroma. In mouth, a lightly nutty malt taste with mineral notes and German hops. Medium bodied. On tap at brewpub, August 27 2009.

Bottle courtesy of wavers1. Pours copper with a sustained, white head and a healthy amount of carbonation. Smells of caramel, some fruity hints, spicy, earthy, some citrus. Tastes of citrus, caramel, spice, pepper, earthy. Enjoyable.

Malty, mild hop aroma. A fairly decent Oktober brew, it would have been nice if it was richer. Good malt/hop balance.

A very satisfying session brew, with lots of flavor. Not a particularly nice looking pour, but no negatives there. Aroma fruitier than your standard lager. Flavor buttery, toffee, quite sweet. Well hopped for the style, perhaps a tad heavier on hops than expected. I enjoyed it.

Deep amber color with a light creamy head. Aroma of malt toast nearly ideal, unfortunately there is a touch of oxidation. Munich malt flavors throughout with just enough hops to cut the sweetness. A true fall session brew

From a $7.99 six pack from BevMo that poured a clear copper with a thick off-white head and good lacing rings. Nose is caramel malts with some ripe fruit notes. Rich and chewy mouthfeel. Flavor is toward the sweet side, and the finish is the same.
