Classic Marzenesque aroma with big toffee and caramel notes. Lovely complementary shades of soft Hallertauer, mineral, and licorice. Elegantly creamy, round mouthfeel. Initial sweet, complex malt flavors are matched with white grape, caramel, fig, dough, and a delicate smooch of spicy Hallertauer. The malt profile here is lacking depth, but is resilient toward the finish. If it weren't for the trace of oxidation, this would be superb. Straightforward and elegant: The way a Märzen is meant to be. Heck yes, ChimayBabe! JPDIPSO (4932), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA

Aroma of malt toast nearly ideal, unfortunately there is a touch of oxidation. Munich malt flavors throughout with just enough hops to cut the sweetness. A true fall session brew. Nice caramel flavor, and a surpising punch of hops at the end. Sudwerk’s best beer, I do believe. Gusler (2655), Tucson, Arizona, USA

A deep burnished copper color on the pour with a modest beige head that is creamy in consistency and the lace a silky covering sheet. Nose is sweet malt; caramel, citrus crisp and fresh a real pleaser to the senses, start is loaded with malt, lightly sweet, the top moderate in its feel to the palate. Finish has a mild acidity, the hops present but understated and the aftertaste quite dry, a real nice beer for the end of the day and the start of my evening.
