DYCSoccer17 (2187), Davis, California, USA Jun 1, 2008 .5 L on tap at the brewpub. Aroma is of noble, spicy hops. Saaz? Bready, biscuity malts are also present with some light floral notes. Moderately hazy honey-colored body with a medium white head. Start has some spicy hoppiness. Becomes quite grainy and doughy with malts in the middle. I also detect a bit of soapiness. Pretty husky and chewy stuff. Finishes with more light crisp hop bitterness. Solid, but not spectacular.
