12 oz bottle. Pours a Dull golden with medium carbonation and a very thin off white head. A roma is grassy, and herbal hops with some doughy pils and crackery pale malts. Flavor is a bit more crisp and has a distinct carapils ligth sweetness, with a tea-like bitterness- slight astringent. Actually has a typical quality that I find in many saratoga beers.

Pours a clouded amber gold. No head. Nose is a fairly firm metallic with a bit of sugar peeking about as well. Flavor is bitter with a lemon citrus edge. Sweet as well, but just a faint touch. Metallic is the word here as that is the most dominant feature. Feel is nice on the bubble and a bit thicker on the liquid. Overall though the metallic flavors that are there kind of detract I think. I can’t say it is anything exciting worth trying.

Sampled at GWBF 2007. Poured from a 12 oz. bottle. Hazy gold color with a thin white head. Light aroma of hops with a little bit of sweet malt. Light, dry hoppy flavor. An ok beer, but not worth revisiting.

clear dark gold, fine white head, drops of lace, toasted malt with light floral hop aroma, dry caramel malt flavor, touch of bready character, light earthy hops lead to a long bitter finish,

Pours golden in color with a nice head. It shows a decent aroma of sweet malt and spice of the hops. It shows a malt like flavor on the palate and has a crisp finish.

sticky thin and sweet. winey type of beer that has a niche in.....well somewhere i suppose. honey with a sweetness that is decent in character. no body and cheap flimsy bubbles like a champagne only without the quality taste.

A very uninteresting beer with a good name. The improvements need to start with the logo. ’nuf ced.
