This was pretty much an average bitter with no distinguishing features other than a rather sharp bitter edge to the finish. I wasn’t impressed, which is a shame as I rate the other beers from Sulwath quite highly, perhaps I should try again if I come across it again. SilkTork (4173), Rochester, Kent, England

Some apple. Some acid. A slight nuttiness, but very faint. Not interesting. A bit green. Some allowance made. chriso (4796), London, Greater London, England

It’s never nice or easy to have to write poor comments about a beer or a brewery, however on this occasion there was nothing grand to say about this ginger coloured beer. The aroma was unimpressive if at all discernable. The flavour was bland with a sharpish metallic twist.
