Aug 20, 2006 Cask at the Swan in the Rushes, Loughborough. Pale golden colour with a slim white head. Hops and fruit in the aroma. Taste is hops, ctrus fruit, honey. Pretty good but a touch too sweet for my liking.

Jul 24, 2006 Cask handpull at Market Porter, Borough. Hazy copper with thin white head. Tastes like a bland bitter. Some citric hop. Bit of honey or ginger maybe? Odd beer. Drinkable, but no strong aroma. Good citric hop finish. I asked for a half and got a pint, which I was happy to sup away at as I ordered my other beers. Fine, but nothing of any great note.

Jul 12, 2006 Cask at Merton Beer Festival, Oxfordshire, July 7th and 8th 2006. Poured light golden colour not too much of a head, some hoppiness on the nose and taste wise pretty much just as I imagined it would be, fresh, little bit tangy, some fruitiness mostly citrusy and good underlying bitterness with dryish finish. I agree with Glenn the name is quite silly, this is a shame really as this wasn’t a bad beer at all.

Jul 11, 2006 Cask conditioned at Merton Summer Beer Festival 06. Pale gold with light head. Initial fruity nose with a pale, thinnish body the beer improves into a crisp sharp hoppy, citric, lemony flavour. Nicely restrained bitter sweetness. Quite accomplished for a lager substitute with a silly name.
