| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 5, 2008 Though not a particularly exceptional beer, this is quite a fine choice for good grilling weather. It is crisp, clean, and bitter but has a refreshing quality to it.
Best very cold. IlanMan (850), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 30, 2008 Pour is light golden with aroma of light hops. Taste is of spice and strong hops. Has a bit of a bite but is drinkable. Not bad. Probably not worth a special purchase but however is a drinkable brew. Metalhead (572), Lake Zurich, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 29, 2008 Slightly off aroma of mild hops and latex gloves?!. Mild hop presence, not complex. The fact that it does not have a big hop bite makes this a mid level very easy to drink beer. I’d rate it as a GOOD "lawnmower" beer. WisconsinBeer (536), St Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 22, 2008 Tap - Groveland Tap. Summit’s flagship beer. This stuff is on tap everywhere in the Twin Cities. Considering how widespread it is, it’s surprisingly decent. Clear amber color, minimal head. Light bodied, somewhat dry. Mild malts and a dry light hop finish. Another good Summit session brew. Tripplebrew (503), Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 22, 2008 Pours a clear honey amber with just a hint of white head. Aroma is lemon and hops. Flavor is of malts and hops. Body is light with a bit of carbonation. I am not a fan of Summit’s EPA and IPA. Not impressed by these two beers, and I wouldn’t go out of my way to get them.
