I want to like it, I just can’t. I have friends who swear by this stuff but I steer clear. Too much hops for me. I did have an associate from London tell me that it wasn’t bitter enough and needed more hops. I guess tastes vary. (freekin wierdo) islay (480), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Mar 18, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Surprisingly good, appetizing, fruity, grassy aroma. Citrus (orange, grapefruit), orange-flavored popsicle, white grape juice, lemonade, and peach scents. Pours a translucent, sparkling light copper with a brass glow. Many tiny bubbles. Moderate amount of uneven, cream-colored head. Good, long-lasting lacing. The flavors, unfortunately, do not live up to the promising aroma and appearance. Lemon, sod, and apple juice elements are present. Metallic, “beery” (i.e., macro pale lager-like) taste. Dirt-bitter finish and aftertaste. Light to moderate body. Frothy, buttery, and lively in the palate. Easy to drink but insubstantial. Summit EPA is accessible but boring. It probably doesn’t help that I’ve had this beer many times, as it frequently is the best thing on tap at Minnesota bars with lesser beer selections. If this beer ever were exciting, that excitement is long gone for me. Tweety (344), Vancouver, Washington, USA

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 9, 2008 Pours hazy and flat looking. Grainy honey aroma with a touch of hops. Low carbonation and lean body. Lacking in flavor but it does have some bitterness. ketchepillar (488), Des Moines/Grinnell, Iowa, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 25, 2008 Light, uniform, crisp bitterness with a lengthy gentle pleasant finish. Downsides: weak, watery, dirty malt. Not bad for what it is. hillfiiiiire (286), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 25, 2008 Pours with a amber hue and off-white fuzzy head. The aroma is grassy hops with a solid backbone of malts, but it’s not anything particularly pleasant, just not upsetting. The flavor is rather grassy with just the bitter of hops. No pine, citrus, or floral appeal. The finish is clean enough, but the beer overall is just really average. jaggedice (4), Chandler, Arizona, USA does not count | 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Feb 15, 2008 Wonderful overall brew from one incredible brewery. It’s extra pale does not appeal to all but if you like hops, this brew is for you. Naka (526), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 28, 2008 Pours amber with a small fizzy head. A light floral hop nose as well as a little bit of toffee sweetness. A nice crisp citrus and floral flavor. A good balanced bitter for the enjoyment of everyone. Very drinkable, yet nothing really stands out about it.
