Fair amount of citrus in the aroma, and the flavor reminds me of mild grapefruit rind. There’s some malt in the flavor profile, too, but thankfully not enough to get in the way of the hops. Lingering, hoppy finish. Very drinkable. Aubrey (2777), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 10, 2006 Hazy and medium orange. Soft and chewy texture, with a moderate carbonation. Somewhat synthetic-tasting malt flavors. Kind of doughy, too. Lingering sweetness. Mild bitterness contained some stark, plant-like flavors. OK beer, but I didn’t really care for the malt flavors very much. CigarsLoveBeer (153), Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 6, 2006 Bottle: Low amout of head, and it disappeared quickly. Light copper color. Medium hop aroma of pine and citrus. Initial sweetness (mostly bready with cinnamon notes) was pretty uneventful, with a very clean hop finish. I found this to be a very drinkable beer, but unremarkable. mnurda (434), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Had it in the bottle at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, Minnesotaah. Like it so much I had another. Very hoppy. Will definitely buy some next time I visit. jcr (1175), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 24, 2006 Draft and bottle. Copper pour with a small off-white head. Floral aroma with hints of caramel. The bottled version was much sweeter than the draft — perhaps because of age. The hops were much more subdued in the bottle as well. Both draft and bottle were fairly standard renditions of an APA. Nothing to make you sit up and take notice. OK hop bite atop the sweet backbone. Medium body and watery texture. Enjoyable for a session beer. moejuck (1165), Ohio, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 21, 2006 Not a bad pale ale at all, but nothing great. The pour is a medium brown color with a small head. The aroma is doughy and grainy. The taste is very nutty and has a decent hint of hops in the end. A little watery in the palate. The aroma is sour nut, strong floral and fruity hops and light molasses and maple syrup. The flavor is sour nut, strong molasses and maple syrup and crisp floral and fruity hops. There is a tangy bitter finish. BigBeer45 (698), Troy, Michigan, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 17, 2006 12 oz. bottle, some foam when pouring, left a good amount of bubbly white lacing on the glass, pretty gold amber ale, some malt sweetess and hop bouquet in the nose,
more hops then I expected, the hops overshadowed the malts, the taste matched the fragrance, some sweet maltness with a hop bite in the mouth, this was a little thin on the palate.
