Description turns me off, "Summit Extra Pale Ale is not a beer brewed only for beer snobs. Just the opposite. It’s a beer for everyone ..." I don’t want to drink a "populist" brew. I want something developed especially for brew snobs! ratman197 (3238), Arvada, Colorado, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 17, 2006 I had this one on draft at Stockertown Beverage and it was a bit on the bitter side for me with a wet palate. The carbonation seems pretty light almost like a macro. mstockton (186), Rochester, Michigan, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Sep 17, 2006 Not bad...no head off the draft. Light amber color...very clear. A little sweetness and some hoppy taste that makes it easy to drain. Still not my favorite summer brew...I’d rather have a Bell’s Oberon. My beef with this stff is that it is a bit thin and watery. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 12, 2006 Updated: May 26, 2007Pours to a clear bronze hue. Butterscotch and some floral hops on the nose, tainted at times by iron and/or aluminum. A very pleasant honey biscuit taste, quietly rich and nicely rounded. A proper bite of English bitters in the finish. Smooth and sessionable, just the kind of thing that deflects almost all complaints. Common, but classic. Ernest (4495), Boulder, Colorado, USA

Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Dreadfully boring rendition. luckygirl (1221), Boulder, Colorado, USA
