| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 1, 2005 Not really that pale at all, less so than I’d expect from a beer with the moniker "Extra pale." Light biscuity, green pepper aroma with slight burnt characteristics. Flavor comes out fairly thin with light floral hoppiness and a slight bit of soapiness. Very mildly sweet doughy malt flavor at the end of the sip. Very clean, lightly bitter finish. Overall very clean but lacking in distinct character. pinkzambia (989), Boise, Idaho, USA

Good malt & hop balance. The hops presented juniper shrub tastes which I would have preferred a little more of. But overall, this is thin and carbonated and I found it to be one of those refreshing brews. footbalm (1218), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 5, 2005 Nice everyday beer, pours an off white creamy head, with medium plus carbonation, beautiful amber color. Has a plesant lite caramel aroma. First taste is slightly bitter, then the lite malt flavor comes in leaving a refreshing after taste. Medium body slightly creamy texture makes for a solid everyday APA/beer that you can enjoy or introduce novices too with good results beerbuff (9), Charleston, South Carolina, USA does not count | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 4, 2005 Great brew. Refreshing with a medium body. Vanilla with maple syrup, yet finishes clean. Very good i.b.u. for this style. raymow (738), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA
