Refreshing with a medium body. Vanilla with maple syrup, yet finishes clean. Very good i.b.u. for this style. raymow (738), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 26, 2005 I have had this many times. Hard to believe I am just now getting to a rating. Pours a light copper color with a white head. The aroma is light pine and a little bit of caramel. There is also some fresh bread. The taste is grapefruit and some burnt toast. There is also a little hint of toffee. A decent APA with a little more character than many. CharlesDarwin (1849), Point Judith, Rhode Island, USA

Continuing bright cascade flavor over some smooth light malt flavors. Respectable and quite quaffable, but not too much character. OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA

Aromas of caramel malts and some grapefruit. Flavor is a nice blend of sweet caramel malts and bitter grapefruit hops. The palate is medium bodied not overly carbonated and very smooth and creamy to drink. This brewery continues to impress me for one that doesn’t get much hype. I’ve liked most of their beers.. Hoppy, citrusy aroma. The flavor is hoppy and citrusy, with a finishing tartness coupled with some emerging toasty malt as it warms. dp (512), uniontown, Ohio, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 22, 2005 I drank this beer after having several "crappy" beers beforehand. This beer tasted pretty darn good after the swill I had been drinking (it was a wedding). Nice balence of flavor, hoppy, but not overly so. I good overall pale ale, and one of the few beers I’ve found from the Twin Cities that I actually enjoy.
