Commercial Description:
Summit Extra Pale Ale is not a beer brewed only for beer snobs. Just the opposite. It’s a beer for everyone to enjoy: construction workers, stock brokers, farmers, sales people, clerks, teachers, lawyers, doctors, even other brewers. Its light bronze color and distinctly hoppy flavor have made it a favorite in St. Paul, Minneapolis and the rest of the Upper Midwest ever since we first brewed it back in 1986.

The color is copper, the look is clear, and its has a decent white head. The smell is malts, hops, caramel, and greass. The taste is low bitterness, grassy, floral, hops, and malts.

Pours a hazy dark orange color with thin layer of bubbly offwhite head. Aroma is very floral. Flavor is dry bitter slightly sweet caramel base and dry resiny hop finish. Overall, not bad but not great.

Bottle as shown. Pours a clear copper orange with a small frothy white head. The aroma is floral hops and honey caramel. Decent spotty lacing on the glass. The taste is a crisp citrus hops with a clean dry finish. Easy to drink, a good american pale ale from Summit.

bottle sent by moelikebeer... crystal clear pale copper orange color with a soft barely off white head. it fades quickly to a foamy film and one ring of lace. the nose is grassy and a bit skunky with notes of caramel, light lemon and faint earthy spiciness. it tastes pretty much the same... some spice, caramel, leafy dry hops and a mildly bitter-ish finish. pleasantly dry throughout which makes it very easy to consume en masse. medium bodied with average carbonation... 6/3/6/3/13/3.1

pours a golden color with a thin white head The hops taste and aroma is very subtle Could use more hop flavor and does not have much depth There are better beers out there

the best beer I have ever tasted. THe taste is excellent with just the right amount of hoppy taste. Well worth trying if you are visiting Minnesota.
