FlyingSwine (143), Littleton, Colorado, USA Jan 24, 2008 Hard pour results in a dark, but clear, copper color with a respectable head. Aroma is light and floral. Flavor is also light, with early balance and a hoppy finish. Mouth is smooth and creamy, but finishes dry. Overall a fairly well balanced, albeit uninteresting beer. If it didn’t finish so dry, I’d sign up for a session. As it is, I’ll probably pass.
jimmack34 (158), Ohio, USA Nov 26, 2008 Bottle. Pours goldish orange. Smells grassy and citrusy. Tastes citrusy, sweet, some grainy malts. Light bodied and easy on the palate. Not too bad. slimchill (694), Austin, Texas, USA Nov 20, 2008 Bottle. Clear amber-brown with a thin head. Nose is caramel malt and light spicy hops. Very clean with a good sweetness and mild hop character. Drinkable with a nice dry palate. Nothing spectacular but solid. nqualls (575), Tennessee, USA Nov 18, 2008 Bottle. Poured a clear amber color with a thin white head. Aroma of spice and floral hops. Flavor was malty with a slight hop bitter finish. Good beer. Nate (2291), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 26, 2008 Bottle from Uncle Sudsy’s. Sweet caramel malt and some grassy floral hops. Light bitter astringent nose with a bit of metallic tang. Clear amber-orange with thin off-white lacing head. Medium watery body with medium-heavy carbonation. Starts quite bitter with dull grassy hops and mild caramel malt. Light caramel sweetness. Bitter finish and after, not quite harsh but not as smooth as others. Light metallic and bitter astringency, though it doesn’t last or coat the tongue. punkeedo (387), San Antonio, Texas, USA Sep 30, 2008 2008 Bottle. A good standard EPA. Smells of floral hops. Tastes strongly of hops, not much more...maybe a little wheat. Light bitter aftertaste. It’s just a simple, straightforward EPA. Not much special or not much bad here either.
