| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 6, 2007 Tap at the Happy Gnome. Tanned red color with a thick beige skin. Some honey and dough in the aroma, very little to actually notice. Peppery, dry hop taste. Moments of cranberry tartness. Quite woodsy. Finsh is permeating and very dry. Uninteresting, solid. jsquire (2123), St. Marys, Ohio, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 22, 2007 Clear amber color out of the bottle, with a small beige foamy head. Nose of raw grains and grassy hops. Lots of grassy hops in the flavor. It leaves an oily hop burn on the tongue. Bready malt, dark caramel sweetness, with some pepper heat. Maybe even some berry sweetness as it warms up. AOF (282), Naperville, Illinois, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 12, 2007 Dark red color with a thick head, gradually fading to nothing. Grainy aroma with, actually, a lot of pepper. Odd. Slightly floral and earthy hop taste. Lots of grain. More of that weird pepper. Not bad, but certainly not what I’d look for an an ESB. Almost a spice beer. Skyview (4095), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 11, 2007 Justed picked up a bottle and chilled properly. Pours a clear, ruby brown brew with an average size and disolving head. Nice lacing. Aromas of light caramel, autumn leaves and floral hops. Flavor of wood, caramel and toasted toffee. Some wood aftertaste but palatable. BDR (2170), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 3, 2007 Reddish tan nice hops in the nose. I need to find out what kind of hops went into this since it was the perfect thirst quenching hops I’ve come to enjoy in some Town Hall and Colorado beers rather than the lawn clippings I usually associate with hops. A nice amount of malt offset the hops. A very nice session beer.
