Pours a clear copper amber with a medium frothy off white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a dark fruit with a spicy malt. Decent spotty lacing on the glass. The taste is a rich malt with raisin and caramel. A good ESB from Summit. SODAK14 (107), Rapid City, South Dakota, USA

Many times we get regional beers around here that..well..suck. So far all of this brewers beers rock! Glouglouburp (2826), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jan 22, 2009 In short: A sweet candy-ish Amber Ale calling itself an ESB
How: Bottle 12oz. Sent my way by MatSciGuy. Thanks a lot Levi. Drank fresh less than a week after receiving it.
The look: Beautiful clear ruby body topped by a medium off-white head
In long: Nice (but light) nose of herbal hops. Taste is a mix of bred, hard candies and tea-like herbs. Unfortunately the hops do not dry this one enough and it leaves the beer with a hard-candy after-taste. More a sweet Amber ale than a ESB if you ask me. I’ve pub crawled England and I can tell you that if you were to serve an ESB like than in England you wouldn’t get many smiles. Which is actually not a bad thing considering the notorious English bad-teeth.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 26, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a rich amber color with a beige head that has decent retention and nice lacing. Aroma is a nice biscuity aroma. Flavor is a mild, biscuit, nutty flavor with a touch of hop bitterness at the end to make it very balanced. This is a very solid ESB. It is nice and easy on the palate and very drinkable.
