This is very good but, Summit, I’ve seen similar body with 8% alcohol! I love the aroma though. Good session beer if you’re really into porter. obisbeer (558), Barcelona, Spain

The mouthfeel is just a bit too watery for my taste, though the bitterness is perfect. Frank (1066), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 30, 2004 Dark brown with a tan head that leaves a single ring of lace at the top of the glass. Aroma is roasty and faintly smokey. Flavor is smooth aside from a slightly astringent bite and a bit of a guaze aftertaste. Light bodied with brisk carbonation. Some dark chocolate notes come out in the finish along with a lingering roasted bitterness. Uneventful but sometimes no news is good news.
