Commercial Description:
Summit Hefe Weizen is brewed with a high percentage of malted wheat, then a small amount of authentic German weizen yeast is left behind to help maintain its brewery freshness. And that’s what accounts for Hefe Weizen’s unique cloudy appearance.

Hazy yellow with a medium white head. Aroma was citricy with a small ammount of fresh cut hay and a touch of banana. Flavor was light with citris and malt sweetness presant. Very easy to drink, and at 3.99$ a sixer you can bet i’ll have plenty more.

Classic hazy gold pour. Some banana in the nose, which makes way for notes of bready and earthy malt. Vanilla and bubblegum yeastiness support the malts. Medium mouthfeel is rounded and rather complex - fresh banana bread with roasted pecans comes to mind. More vanilla as well as pear fruitiness accentuate the wheat and barley. This is really nice for a state-side Hefe and rather quaffable.

There is a slight lemon/banana aroma. The beer bours a light golden with a white head. The flavor has a malty sweetness with some hop bitterness at the finish.

Pretty drinkable wheat, with strong clove, grass, banana, and lemon aromas. These all carry through the flavor with additional malt sweetness, and mild hop bitterness. A fairly refreshing finish as well.

Thanks to Robert’s Reality for this one. Pours turbid gold/yellow with 1-finger, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of citrus and hops combined with cloves, and some of the banana/bubblegum duo. The flavor is citric, with a mid-palate burst of malt and some banana/clove hints.

Not much to say for this one. Cloudy yellow orange. Yeast and citrus in the nose and on the tongue. Smooth.

Bright, yellow-orange, almost neon. Pours with a nice thick white head that lingers. Nice yeast flavor with strong hints of corriander, which is a bit too much for my liking. Fresh and BIG flavor; a very full-bodied and flavored hefe.

Aroma is mild banana. Very faint. Pours a cloudy off-yellow, thin head. A mid-range hefe that lacks the punch of the Germans. Not a bad patio beer, mildly flavourful.
