No bubblegum though and the slight lack of sweetness was missed. Slightly hoppy for a weizen. Good if you can get it cheep though. Frank (1071), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 7, 2003 Not impressive, and only slightly below average!!! Yellow with no real head. Ok... just found out that we didnt pour the yeast... may have to rerate... BUT AT THE MOMENT!!!! Aroma is of wheat... big surprise there, some lemon. The flavor is very light, with a hint of wheat, and a nice sweetness. needs more flavor and body. ¾ (5009), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 7, 2003 Had to struggle to pour a small white head with big bubbles which sits upon an extremely light yellow body. Hefeweizen? Unfiltered? no... Aroma is pleasent, wheat, lemons, all the usual stuff. Crisp, reminds me of a kolsch, slightly dry. Flavors are almost too light to detect... watery lemonade, not much of a wheat taste of feel. lemonlovr (187), Lockport, Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Oct 5, 2003 Aroma is dominated by a lemony smell with some yeast and a hint of hops. The appearance is a golden honey-yellow. First pour was clear but the addition of a swirl of the last bit in the bottle picked up the remaining yeast and deposited it in the glass, giving this beer a cloudy hefeweizen appearance. Flavor is weet citrus up front, a bit bladn in the middle followed by a smooth slightly hoppy finish. Overall effect is rather thin. A decent, but not great, hefeweizen.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 5, 2003 Familiar yeasty, citrusy aroma, with notes of clove, banana and lemon and a light, honeyish sweetness. Bottle swirled and poured to produce a cloudy dark straw yellow color and fine head. Citrusy flavor, some wheat malt and spritzy lemon, with a spicy, yeasty and mildly tart, bitter finish. Herbal, juicy, sweetish aftertaste. Refreshing, if nothing too special. Syd (909), Waconia, Minnesota, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 25, 2003 The beer poured too clear for the style, but I agitated the sediment to get a nice cloudy yellow white color with a minimal head. The aroma was yeasty and a touch clovey. The flavor started out as a good Hefeweizen, but seemed to finish too watery. It's an OK effort.
