Commercial Description:
Summit Hefe Weizen is brewed with a high percentage of malted wheat, then a small amount of authentic German weizen yeast is left behind to help maintain its brewery freshness. And that’s what accounts for Hefe Weizen’s unique cloudy appearance.

12 oz bottle-pours a rich white head that laces and hazy yellow color. Aroma is clove, earthy, light/medium malt. Taste is clove/nutmeg, earthy-maybe slight chocolate, spice hops. OK carbonation. Thanks to Joe-jwc215 for picking this out.

Had to struggle to pour a small white head with big bubbles which sits upon an extremely light yellow body. Hefeweizen? Unfiltered? no... Aroma is pleasent, wheat, lemons, all the usual stuff. Crisp, reminds me of a kolsch, slightly dry. Flavors are almost too light to detect... watery lemonade, not much of a wheat taste of feel.

A hazy golden color with a respectable white head, this has agrassy aroma with a hint of yeast fruitiness. There’s a bit of a citric flavoring, as well. A clean drink, good for hot summer days.

Light hazy yellow with a moderate head. Mild banana and yeast aroma. Thin bodied. A cross between aan american wheat and a true hefe. Finishes slightly sweet.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a large frothy white head that diminished slowly and produced little lacing. Good wheat banana aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Moderate wheat and banana hop flavor with an average finish. Good drinkable brew.

Thanks to Robert’s Reality for this one. Pours turbid gold/yellow with 1-finger, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of citrus and hops combined with cloves, and some of the banana/bubblegum duo. The flavor is citric, with a mid-palate burst of malt and some banana/clove hints.
