| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 18, 2009 12 oz. bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a hazy lt. brown color with a medium off white head. The aroma is fruity and mild caramel malt providing a moderate sweetness. There are slight hints of pine. The flavor is generally lacking. I get grassy, earthy hops with a bready malt base. There is a general bitterness to the finish. I didn’t get much in the way of fruits or caramel from the nose. CanIHave4Beers (912), Des Moines, Iowa, USA

Pours a clear reddish copper with a frothy 3-finger beige head. Light roast caramel aroma with mild floral hop. Near medium body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is roast caramel with a touch of citrus, but mostly floral. Seems astringent. Decent drink. TheCaptain (559), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 16, 2009 Hop aroma is strong - both citrus and grass in the nose. Bold, tasty hop flavor as well; as others have pointed out, the malt does not balance the brew fully, rendering it somewhat empty. A bit too much carbonation for my tastes -- makes the beer bite back a bit, but it’s a thin, somewhat disingenuous bite. Very pleasant red hue. On tap.
