| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 12, 2009 Bottle… Clear copper ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. Good retention. The aroma is mostly of resin, but also offers lesser notes of grapefruit and caramel. Medium-bodied with sort of a buttery mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. The flavor is mainly about bitter, resiny, citric hops. Any residual crystal and/or caramel malt sweetness is totally muted by the earthy, grapefruity lupulin. Tannic, bitter, dry finish. jcwattsrugger (5374), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 6, 2009 Bright copper color with a smallish light beige head. Simply stated a hoppy amber aroma. Grass, grapefruit and caramel scents. Light caramel start, middle is filled with grapefruit and mild pine. Finish is fairly dry with a bit of pepper. Needs a little more malt depth for my taste buds, but quite good. Tmoney99 (4747), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Poured a clear reddish brown color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasted and had excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy malt and earthy hop aroma. Medium body with slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration.
Good complex session brew. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
