Commercial Description:
In keeping with tradition, our India Pale Ale has a distinctive – some might even say aggressive – hop flavor.

33 cl bottle, Fargo. Deep amber colour, frothy white head. Spicy malt aroma, sweet caramel flavor, long bitter hop finish, more interesting than I thought.

Bottle: Golden hue with a fizzy fading head. The aroma has grassy and very sublime citric vapours along with biscuity and light DMS character. Mildly twangy flavors along with husky and grassy overtones. Light bitterness along the finish which is short and fleeting. The mouth feel is water but refreshing enough, some mineral like aftertaste. Okay but the Extra Pale Ale is a bit better.

Bottle from the six pack store in Philadelphia. Pours amber with a decent size off-white head. Aroma of caramel, citrus, and slightly floral. The flavor is weak, caramel, citrus, and small traces of hops. Not bad, but not much of anything. Boring.

Pours a darker amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is of caramel, sweet malts, and plenty of floral hops. Flavor starts off with lots of floral hops and the sweet malts balancing pretty nicely. But the flavor doesn’t last very long. I was suprised the flavor wasn’t stronger on this one. It’s decent but could be better

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a shaker, amber with a medium beige head. Aroma was hops and malt. there was a big hop taste up front with some notes of roasted malt. Slightly bitter finish. Not nearly as good as the Summit Extra Pale Ale.

Bottle (12oz). Deep clear burnt copper colour with a small creamy off-white head. Pretty skunky aroma, weedy stale hops and vegetal malt - pretty ugly, really. The taste is bland, not as vegetal, more like bitter herbs and a hint of alcohol with the fairly thick, flavourless malt. Watery, slightly astringent, flat and a not-nice bitter aftertaste. Astonishingly poor US IPA.
