| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 4, 2006 Bottle: Amber ruby color, nice head and lacing. Nose of light grass and fruit, some orange. The flavor is lightly bitter, some malts. Very little hops, near a mild pale or amber ale. Finishes eh, Boring IPA! bitbucket (2034), Kirkland, Washington, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 1, 2006 Bottle. Pours a clear orange amber with a lacy sand-colored head. The aroma has some flowers, citrus, toffee and a tiny bit of dust. The body is medium with a creamy mouthfeel and average carbonation. The taste starts with sweet toffee, moves to citrus and then a piney finish. On the tame end of the IPA scale, but tasty none the less. sliffy (2012), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 21, 2006 Bottle: Brown, medium khaki head. Aroma of caramel and some subdued floral hops. Flavor, brown sugar, some spice, not very bitter. It might have been an older bottle, but it still wasn’t very good. Just too malty. GeneralGao (3057), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 19, 2006 Draught. Clear amber-brown color with off white head that laced the glass. Strong malty caramel/molasses flavor and aroma complemented by equally prominent citrusy hops and an assertive hop bitterness at the end. Not many of the IPA’s I have tried have had this strong of a malt presence. cewldre (268), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 14, 2006 On tap at the local pub. Poured amber in color. Small quickly dissipating head. I was a little confused by this beer. It claimed to be IPA, but it did not seem to fit the IPA mold set out. Don’t get me wrong, it was still enjoyable. bethmatt0421 (319), Covington, Kentucky, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 30, 2006 Copper in color with a thick white head that stays well. Aroma is flat, grass, spice. Flavor is very much the same but lacking in the ’IPA-ish’ character. Still enjoyable. cbkschubert (2004), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jun 24, 2006 via trade with OhioDad - Pours a clear copper color with a good size head that last. Light carbonation. Light lacing. Light earthy hop aroma. Not alot of flavor. Not even close if its supposed to be an American IPA. Medium body. This beer needs more of everything if it wants to grow up and be a real IPA someday. Thanks Scott.
