Commercial Description:
In keeping with tradition, our India Pale Ale has a distinctive – some might even say aggressive – hop flavor.

Poured an amber color with a medium sized, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of pine, citrus fruits, herbs, and caramel malt. Taste of more caramel malt, resiny pine, some citrus fruits, and a medium bitter finish.

Appears an orange colored amber with a small scattered lacing around the glass. Smell is of caramel, sweet malt, and piney hops. Taste is of the same aromas with a bitter hop blast. Mouthfeel is too malty and sweet with a bitterness that sticks out towards the end of the finish.

Pours a medium amber. Floral hop aroma with some caramel malts. Flavor is citrusy, could use more hops.

This beer was cloudy and amber in color. It had nice lacing, but a small head. This beer was a bit to hoppy for my taste.

12 oz bottle pours a rich amber, leaving a decent head with good lacing. Not a whole lot in the aroma: hoppy but not very citric, kind of metallic. Flavor is extremely well balanced between the malt and hops, this is obviously not a west coast style IPA, seems more English to me. Finish is lots of clean bitterness but not overpowering. You could drink this all night. Not truly outstanding but very well done.

Good piney hop aroma. Dark amber with a little bit if a haze. Medium body and good balance between hops and malt. Not too sweet and not too bitter. Finishes a bit sour.

Had this on tap in Minneapolis with Indian food. Not very memorable. Slight metallic flavor with very light hoppy aroma. Not served in the right glass, so the aroma was ruined. I’ve had way hoppier, more bitter finish beers. Wouldn’t have it again, but I love hops, so I’m biased.

12oz. bottle. Pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit, some homemade bread and a little metal. Taste: malty bread up front, followed by some moderate bitterness, and then goes back to a sweet malt finish. The aftertaste’s aftertaste brings back a lingering bitterness. I think I like their Extra Pale more than this one. I don’t think this qualifies as an IPA--a little to balanced, if you ask me.
