Pours a clear medium reddish color body. Average frothy white head, quickly Diminishing. Grapefruity, piney aroma. Some English-smelling malts too. Malty strawberry taste. Hoppy bitter aftertaste. Somewhat dusty. Carbonated. More ’Pale Ale’-ish. WisconsinBeer (526), St Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 14, 2008 On tap, Groveland Tap St Paul MN. Pours a clear deep orange color. Minimal foamy head leaves lots of lacing on the glass. Flavor is dry malt that lingers for a moment followed by a blast of astringent pine hop bitterness. Medium bodied, finish is lingering and dry. Not a huge amount of depth here, but the one thing it does (smacking you with fresh hop goodness) it does well. Solid IPA. OD40oz (600), Box Elder, South Dakota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 9, 2008 Dark amber with orangish colored quickly diminishing head. Malty, hoppy aroma. Hopyy grassy taste. This beer lacked the harsh aftertaste of many India Pale Ales. I dont usually like IPA styles but this one was pretty decent. GMUcrew7 (361), Mason, Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 28, 2008 Pours translucent deep amber color with bubbly off white head. Aroma is faint hops and sweet malt, would never have guessed it was an IPA from smell. Sweet nutty malt profile, nicely balanced by the bitter hops. It is actually a pretty enjoyable beer that you could sit down and drink a couple of, its just not really a good IPA for hopheads. thejoeshow (232), Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA

12 oz bottle. Pours a deep amber/caramel color with a frothy off white foamy head that has great retention and produces excellent lacing. Aroma is of piney hops and a slight hint of citrus. There is also a good dose of malt in there too. Flavor is nice and smooth, very balanced for an IPA. The one thing I really like is that the bitterness comes in at the end of the sip. You get the malty sweetness to start, followed by the pine flavor in the aroma and then the bitterness. The mouthfeel was very nice. This is an IPA you could sit down and drink 4 or 5 of in a sitting. jimmack34 (569), Lancaster, Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 27, 2008 Bottle. Pours copper reddish with a beige head. Smells nutty, bread-like, and dry. Not mush hops present in the smell. Tastes like wood, wheat bread, grainy, earthy, mostly a malt presence, very little bittering hops. Not good for an IPA, but would be better classified as a british style bitter. jbuzz (661), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
