Commercial Description:
In keeping with tradition, our India Pale Ale has a distinctive – some might even say aggressive – hop flavor.

Probably one of the worse IPAs I’ve had. Pretty weak in hop aroma and flavors. Happens to be very bitter tho but nothing else good about it.

smell of sweet possibly caramel malts.... Not much hop aroma to speak of.... The flavor continues more of the same maltiness... I cant fathom how this qualifies as an IPA... There is a slight hoppiness in the initial sip, but it quickly goes away....

Bottle poured to glass. Floral aroma of hops and malt. Tastes of heavily roasted malt and grape fruity hops. Not overly strong in any specific area. Creamy, malty mouthfeel.

Bottle: Dark copper color, almost clear with a small off-white head. Average hoppy roma with a nice full-bodied bitter, clean taste. There is also a little flower in the flavor as well. it has a nice hoppy aftertaste that isn’t overpowered by the bitterness. Certainly not an "in your face" IPA.

Objectively speaking: 12oz bottle. Subpar IPA bought in Ann Arbor not even 2 weeks ago.
I like: Malts maintain a bready, slightly toasty backing stance. Firm bitterness eventually, the beer is dry all throughout.
I dislike: Severely handicapped aroma. Dull amber colour with a quickly departing white foam. A bit of alcohol shows up in the end and this is not even 6%. Not very balanced in the finish, like chewing on dry leaves, muddled with earthiness, bordering chalky. Characterless hops.

Bottle. Jessup Plaza. Amber pour with almost no head. Aroma of light hops and some oak. Flavor was quite bland with an off hop flavor. Not too good.
