Bottle. Hazy amber, little head. Aroma is quite sweet with hints of toffee and caramel and slightly tart. Flavor is well balanced and smooth, but not much flavor.

Bottled (thanks drewbeerme!). Golden colour, beige small head. Aroma is hops hops, some caramel malts and a bit earthyness. Flavour is very much the same. Wellbalanced, but not the most interesting brew.

Amber color, small head. Bready, ryeish nose. A bit caramelly and malty with American hops. Half a märzen, half an APA. Slightly sugary aftertaste.

Draught: Aroma of hops, strawberries, and caramel malt is medium sweet. Poured amber in color with a medium-sized, rocky, white head that lasted throughout. Good lacing. Clear. Sparkling. Flavor of malt, caramel malt, chocolate malt, and salt. Medium body. Sticky texture. Living carbonation. Malty finish.

The deep amber color of the body is just wonderful, yet it could definitely use a grander head and some lacing. The aroma seemed a bit on the weak side, as the sweet malts need some hops to liven things up. The flavor is mostly malts and alcohol, but the hops play a larger role here than in the flavor. This beer seems to get better as the chill wears off, too, so don’t be quick to judge if it’s served very cold. Overall, this is a nice Oktoberfest, and it goes well with the chilly Autumn evenings.

The first thing that made my jaw drop once I prepared to enter this into my beer journal was the ABV. 7.7%??? Are you kidding me? Never noticed it.... Pours a hazed copper orange color with a frothy head of light bone china. Aromas were nutty, grainy, and caramelly sweet. A bit of tea in the background. Snappy nut finish. Full-bodied. And in no way is 7.7% noted anywhere here. A good one.

Pours a clear gold-amber with a few bubbles on top and some lacing, aroma of malt and sweetness, a sip gives lots of sweet and malt flavors, some alcohol on the palate that hung around for the entire ride, just a bit much and out of style, sure, it’s a good partying drink, some hops comes out towards the finish with the sweet lingering just a tad, nice mouth feel, has a dry finish, this was ok.

I had this on tap at the brewery two weeks before it was released in bottles. Very sweet in flavor. Copper hue in color.
